A combination of fifty year old and ninety year old Shiraz vines grown with organic practices by Nick and Helen Vrees in Blewitt Springs. Picked early, fermented as 100% whole bunches then locked down on skins for six weeks. Matured in used puncheons for ten months following pressing. This is new school McLaren Vale- Low alcohol, pretty aromatics and savoury, delicate red fruits. The palate is medium weight at best, however, the power of old vine McLaren Vale shines through. 80 doz produced.
